The Cushions

The cushions are made from 100% raw silk, decorated with a contrasting decorative band. They measure 41 cm by 41 cm, have a concealed zip and come complete with a cushion pad. The decorative bands go across the centre of the front of the cushions and are between 8.5 cm to 11 cm wide.

We currently have a gorgeous range of colours which includes:

• Saphire blue with a silver and blue band

• Ruby red with a silver and red band

• Sugar pink with pink and gold band

• Pewter -grey with a black, gold and red band

• ‘Moonbeam’ (pale gold with a blue cast) with a black, gold and red band

• ‘Old gold’ with a green, gold and silver band

• We also have a beautiful band decorated with birds that comes in red and green-gold and we have put this on the pale gold and pewter cushions.

The variation in colours depends on what supplies we are sent from Nepal, so if you want a particular colour please ring us before ordering. At the moment we are buying our silk in the UK but hope to buy silk direct from Kathmandu in 2006. The decorative bands have been bought in Kathmandu and sent to us by villagers from Salle.
